About Us

We are a friendly local group in Nottingham, aiming to promote organic gardening, sustainable gardening and a more localised food culture. 2012 is our 25th year! We've got some exciting plans for later in the year, so watch this space. In the meantime, if you were involved in the early years, why not get in touch and let us know? Those of us involved more recently would love to hear about it and maybe see photos.

We meet every month for sociable talks about organic gardening and related issues, learning from speakers and also pooling our own knowledge. In summer we have visits to organic gardens and farms.

NOGs has a Demonstration Allotment where members and local people work together putting organic theory into action. We also have socials, summer meetings and practical demonstrations of organic techniques for our members and the public.
